From 25 to 28 March 2025, around 50 participants from EU Member States, institutions, bodies, and agencies involved in technical cybersecurity gathered in Constanศa, Romania, for the European Security and Defence Collegeโs (ESDC) fully residential pilot course: Advanced Cyber Range Training for Maritime Cyber Resilience. The course was hosted by Constanta Maritime University through its MARITIME CYBERSECURITY CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE, under the auspices of the ESDC.
This was the first ESDC training programme specifically tailored to cyber range and maritime cybersecurity. The intensive four-day course combined theoretical sessions with practical, hands-on exercises to address the growing cybersecurity challenges faced by the maritime domain.
